It’s Pizza Party Time!
When was the last time you hosted an event for your youngest credit union visitors? Perhaps it’s time for a pizza party! Hosting a “Youth Day” pizza celebration once a year right before summer, when kids are ready to get out of school and enjoy the arrival of the hottest season, can really cast a spotlight on youth saving at the credit union.
To liven up the pizza party, consider inviting Dollar Dog to share the fun. He can help spread the word to your youngest members that saving at the credit union is beneficial in so many ways. When Dollar Dog walks into the room, kids’ faces really light up!
Free pizza and Dollar Dog – it’s a recipe for a great Youth Day!
YouthCast Is Coming Soon!
The latest addition to the Marketing Partners family is an informational, fun website called YouthCast. The site is filled with youth-friendly ideas like the one above and will help you market your products and services to the youngest members of your credit union. Best of all, YouthCast is completely free!
Even if you do not currently have a generational marketing program in place at your credit union, YouthCast can provide you with ideas that will help you increase youth membership and gain more members for life. The marketing tips on YouthCast will help you reach and teach younger members so you can best help them become financially secure and responsible as they grow up. YouthCast will help your credit union move beyond simply gaining the attention of younger members to actually interacting with them and teaching them the best ways to save money.
Why Is Marketing Partners Providing This Service?
On YouthCast you will find ideas that other youth marketers have had that will encourage your credit union’s growth far into the future. YouthCast will also provide an opportunity for credit unions to submit youth marketing ideas, which will be posted on the site and shared with other credit unions.
As successful youth marketers already know, marketing to youth is important because:
- They are the future of your organization.
- The credit union mission dictates care and concern for the financial welfare of all members, young and old.
- Teaching youth how to save today will help them get into the habit early – and this is one of the keys to savings success for their entire lives.
