Greetings Dollar Dog Kids Clubbers!
I’ve been busy helping credit unions across the country with their financial literacy efforts. In a recent survey, conducted in the August Issue of PawPrints, credit unions shared their Dollar Dog Kids Club news.
As part of their commitment to the youth of their community, children participated in youth challenge weeks, prize giveaways and savings bond drawings. I made visits to schools and community events. I took part in a magic show, a ring toss game, fishing pond and bowling activities. Credit unions formed partnerships with other businesses that involve children, such as baseball and football games, parades and Radio Disney. The most successful events involved partnerships with local schools.
I invited children to participate in “International Credit Union Day” events (October 18th). The Dollar Dog Kids Club program incorporates games, special events, jokes and music to help kids learn about the importance of saving, earning, and even investing money. Kids can learn the basics of healthy saving and spending habits, and have fun too!
Have a fantastic Holiday Season!

Hey, Everybody!
Your credit union can provide a coloring book for your Dollar Dog Kids Club members now! Marketing Partners has created a coloring book that you can hand out to your youngest visitors so they can color some great pictures. You could also provide a box of four crayons for these guests.
You can order coloring books for just 75 cents each or have some books customized for your credit union for just a little bit more. Contact Janice Scanlon at Marketing Partners today to order your own copies of this new coloring book.
