Dollar Dog Helps Alex’s Lemonade Stand
Dollar Dog was a big hit with the kids during the Schiel’s Family Market fundraiser to benefit Alex’s Lemonade Stand, which supports kids with cancer. Dollar Dog and the Choice One FCU staff were there to help – a total of over $12,000 was raised during this community-wide event.

Fremont FCU
Dollar Dog's cousin, Sammy, and his friends at Fremont FCU have been busy attending business mixers for the Chamber of commerce in Fremont, Ohio. Members and the community business leaders shared an evening out with the credit union's mascot for their youngest members. Sammy dressed up for the occasion. His "costume" was a scarecrow.
As part of its commitment to the youth of their community, Fremont Federal Credit Union visits various community Events throughout the year. Children have a friendly face to greet them as they develop a "savings habit."
Dollar Dog is a fun character that all children will easily identify with when they participate in "International Credit Union Day" events this year. (October 18th) The DD program incorporates games, special events, jokes and music to create a great way to help kids learn about the importance of saving, earning, and even investing money. Kids can learn the basics of healthy saving and spending habits and have fun too.
Write and tell us about what your Dollar Dog did this year to welcome your youngest members to the credit union for International Credit Union Day.
